A+ Kids College was born from a simple but powerful belief: that every child — regardless of zip code, income, or background — deserves access to rich, hands-on learning experiences that go beyond the school day.
After more than 11 years working in early childhood education — in classrooms, childcare centers, and community programs across Durham — our founder saw the same pattern again and again. Children were curious, creative, and hungry to learn. But the enrichment programs that could feed that hunger were often expensive, inaccessible, or simply didn't exist in the communities that needed them most.
So she built one. A+ Kids College LLC started as a vision to bring high-quality, joyful, hands-on enrichment directly to children where they already are — at their schools, their childcare centers, their libraries, and their community spaces. No barriers. No gatekeeping. Just great learning.
With a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Psychology, combined with over a decade of direct experience with young children, our founder brings both the academic foundation and the real-world wisdom to create programs that truly work — programs that children love and parents trust.
